Welcome to the EWGA Northern New Jersey Chapter

This month I would like to highlight some of the specific benefits of being part of the EWGA as well as being part of the second largest Chapter in the country – the Northern New Jersey Chapter. 

As an EWGA member your National membership benefits include discounts, magazines and other tangible benefits including a free golf lesson and a complimentary round of golf.  From a golf perspective, membership also includes access to the largest women’s amateur golf tournament (the EWGA Championship), golf discounts around the country, a free handicap service (GLMS) and the chance to play golf with members across the country as well as in Canada and France. In addition, there are numerous opportunities for networking and personal and professional development through seminars, conferences and volunteer opportunities. This February I had the opportunity (that all of you have as well) to attend the National Conference in California where I made numerous contacts, attended a number of leadership, inspirational, best practices and golf-oriented sessions and even had the unbelievable opportunity to play golf with LPGA Hall of Fame golfer Patty Sheehan who is a member of the EWGA Board. My suggestion is that you take advantage of as many benefits as possible and consider attending next year’s National Conference at Pinehurst in April 2010!
