Welcome to the official start of the golf season here in northern New Jersey!

A special welcome to our over 135 new members joining so far in 2008!!  The weather has been generally cooperative and we are already into our leagues and had our first official golf tournament.  It also looks as if the substitute opportunities for leagues are as robust as ever.  One member told me that she could play at least once every day of the week already.  So please, if you do have some potential flexibility and free time, sign up to be a sub for multiple leagues at the same low one-time $30 fee.  I also encourage those of you that get closed out of events, miss the registration deadline or cannot commit a long time in advance to check with us as the event gets closer – we sometimes have a few spots open up at the last minute and our policy is to try and accommodate people by the use of a waiting list after the registration end date.  If someone does drop out, we can often have a waiting list person substitute for the registrant and reimburse them directly for the cost of the event.
