Welcome to the EWGA - Northern New Jersey Chapter

The Executive Women's Golf Association (EWGA) is a not-for-profit organization formed in 1991 whose mission is connecting women to learn, play, and enjoy the game of golf for business and for fun.

The Northern NJ Chapter provides golf opportunities for members in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic and Sussex counties. We offer golf education, leagues, tournaments, social events and a network of international business connections for thousands of professional women across the globe.  Members are active and retired CEOs, CFOs, Program and Project Managers, teachers and professors; realtors, financial, legal, manufacturing, medical and health professionals, small business owners and more.

Locally, we offer 20 leagues, a weekend golf school, “Ready to Golf “ and technique improvement programs, monthly on and off course networking events, rules and etiquette workshops; tristate area EWGA  stroke, scramble and match tournaments; and a Chapter Championship.

Joining the Northern New Jersey Chapter is a great way to get involved in the game of golf and to meet other women. Our Calendar of Events includes education programs, leagues, golf outings, and networking & social activities.

President's Message

President’s Message

Congratulations to the Chapter Championship winners!! And thanks to the Board members and volunteers who participated both on and off the course. This year there were five scramble teams and eight stroke players.  Consider this –“I had no idea all levels of handicap could play in this “ – That’s what its about!!

Everyone can play. Start keeping your handicap and join the tournament next year!!

We always welcome more golfers at events and need volunteers for events.

Specifically, volunteers are needed on August 26th at Crystal Springs (EWGA shirt and $10 voucher included) and for the the Marketing  and Communications executive committees, membership services, and events fall planning.

Upcoming golf events include match play at West Point on August 5th, intraclub with Stroudsburg at Ballyowen on August 27th,  and the season closer on September 24th at Skyview ,

Nominations are upon us, and I want to encourage everyone to recommend emerging leaders to the Committee. During this year we have seen new faces volunteering and participating in all activities, leagues and events.

As my term comes to a close, I would like to extend my thanks to the membership, volunteers and a great Board for all they have done this year.

Make EWGA your own – participate actively!!
