Get Started: Learn to Play Golf

These classes are open to both EWGA members and non-members

Have you always wanted to learn to play golf? Are you interested in seeing if it is the sport for you? Do you have a friend interested in learning the game?

Keith Grassing, PGA Professional of North Jersey Country Club, has designed a program that will introduce you all the fundamentals of playing golf. You will learn all of the basic swings including the full swing, putting, chipping, pitching, and sand play. Additionally you will learn about golf equipment, proper warm up techniques, basic rules and etiquette. This program includes four lessons on the course to try out your new skills. The goal of this program is to give you the skills and knowledge that you need to begin to be comfortable playing on the golf course.

The class consists of 10 lessons consisting of six(6) 1 hour lessons from the lesson tees to learn basic golf technique and four(4) 1 ½ hour lessons on the course where you will practice your golfing skills under actual playing conditions.

Sessions: Six, one hour clinics and four one and a half hour lessons on the course

Fee: $375.00 per person for the program

Class Size: 4 minimum / 8 maximum

Level: This program is for non-golfers, new golfers with very little experience and golfers returning to the game.

Lesson Dates: All lessons are on the following Saturdays at 2:30.
May 5 (1 ½ hours includes orientation), May 12, 19, June 2, 16, 30, July 7, 14, 21, 28, (Aug 4 for make up)

Note: Due to availability of the course, flexibility of either lesson or on the course need to allowed. Please plan 1 ½ hours into your schedule.
